The Knife Edge belt is thus defined because of its beak-shaped terminal. It is used to lay double sheet products onto a subsequent conveyor belt keeping them aligned. The knife edge terminal guarantees an optimal transfer of the products. For this reason it is mostly used in retractable belts.
